Lucy Edet, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, recently encountered a distressing situation involving Davido’s security personnel.
Amid ongoing complaints about the singer’s notoriously strict security team, known for their harsh treatment of trespassers, Lucy recounted an incident where she and a friend narrowly avoided being hit by one of Davido’s convoys at a party. Despite being rescued from the situation, Lucy didn’t depart the club without expressing her frustration, which led to a confrontation with the security personnel.
According to Lucy, some of the young men accompanying Davido received severe reprimands, including physical confrontation, from his security team.
Explaining in pidgin, she wrote: “Na so somebody’s chop slap early momo as we were leaving the club because of Davido. The security details held the kind of guns you saw in movies. Na Baba God save me and my friend, one of the mumu convoys nearly hit me as my friend. I abused them wella”.
