It has been reported that Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigerian YouTuber and Japa advocate, has been deported back to Nigeria. Following his controversial interview, Tiamiyu faced significant backlash from many Nigerians who labeled him a traitor for revealing certain information.
Although the news remains unconfirmed, some individuals are already celebrating his deportation, and he is expected to trend once again.
Tiamiyu was arrested in March 2024 after allegedly using £160,000 given to him by the UK government to build a house in his hometown.
Currently, some users are celebrating his reported deportation.
Tiamiyu is known for his BBC interview where he discussed the trend of Nigerians studying in the UK as a means to escape hardship, commonly referred to as JAPA.
