The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu is set to return to Nigeria on Wednesday following his trip to Europe. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, conveyed this information via a statement on Tuesday.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga remarked.
Tinubu’s journey began on April 22 when he departed Abuja for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit. This visit was at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
Subsequently, Tinubu traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting from April 28 to 29, following his engagements in The Netherlands.
Although the President’s return was anticipated after the forum in Saudi Arabia, Tinubu’s prolonged absence from the European trip has sparked speculation about his whereabouts.
