The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasidi Ladoja, has officially withdrawn the lawsuit against members of the Olubadan-in-Council. This decision comes after High Chief Ladoja had filed a suit against the Council members regarding the wearing of the beaded crown before the passing of the late 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun.
With the withdrawal of the suit, the path is now clear for the enthronement of the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland. Adeola Oloko, one of his aides, confirmed this development on Tuesday.
