Renowned movie producer Adanma Luke has strongly condemned TC Okafor for exploiting the tragic death of his colleague, Junior Pope, for personal gain.
To provide context, TC Okafor was one of the survivors of a devastating boat accident in April that claimed the lives of Junior Pope and several other crew members. Instead of showing sensitivity towards the incident, TC Okafor opted to create content centered around the tragedy. Adanma Luke expressed her disapproval of this decision in unequivocal terms.
Adanma Luke highlighted TC Okafor’s past envy towards Junior Pope and even mentioned his aspirations of entering the industry before the talented actor’s untimely demise.
She wrote:
“So it’s actually true you now use this whole incident for content. You told your colleagues on set how you came to the industry before Jp and how you were the one that wrote his name for him on his first audition now his playing lead ahead of you. The envy and jealousy in the industry is on another level. Hopefully this incident makes you the super star you wanted so desperately.”
