Nigerians expressed concerns about the younger generation’s priorities when witnessing a group of young men passionately debating the ongoing Wizkid and Davido saga. This saga was reignited after the two musicians recently engaged in a heated exchange on the microblogging site X, despite their reunion in December of last year. It seems their friendship has since dissolved.
Consequently, fans have taken sides, intensifying the divide. This dispute spilled over into a heated discussion among Nigerian tertiary students, with around eight to nine of them captured on camera outside their school hostel sharing their opinions on the matter. The person who recorded and posted the video mentioned that the debate woke him up and lasted for over an hour.
