Woodhall Capital founder, Mrs. Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, shared that despite being married for two decades and having children, she has never cooked at home. Speaking on ‘The Diary Of A Naija Girl’ podcast, Hunponu-Wusu explained that her busy schedule has never allowed her time for cooking or other household chores.
She mentioned that her husband is not concerned about her lack of involvement in the kitchen, suggesting that cooking might not be his preferred way of expressing affection. Instead, she focuses on activities that her husband appreciates.
Hunponu-Wusu stated, “I’ve been married for 20 years but I’ve never cooked in my home. I don’t find the opportunity to cook. While I would love to have more time for cooking and other family-related activities, my schedule doesn’t permit it, and I must remain true to my purpose and myself. Perhaps cooking isn’t my husband’s primary way of expressing love. He may value other aspects of our relationship. We have three kids.”
