DJ Commissioner Wysei: Confirming her arrest, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos Police command, stated that she is being charged with assaulting a police officer, obstructing police officers in the discharge of their duties, and resisting arrest.
According to reports, the well-known DJ had filed a fraud case against a man on Monday at the Elemoro police station in Ajah. She was subsequently invited by the police to discuss whether to settle the matter amicably or proceed with charging the man in court.
Upon arrival at the station, DJ Commissioner Wysei insisted that the man publicly apologize while she recorded the apology. However, the man refused, prompting the police officers handling the case to decide to pursue legal action.
Allegedly displeased with this decision, DJ Commissioner Wysei reportedly blocked the entrance to the station and assaulted the female officers involved in the case.
