NECO Delays 2024 entrance exams. The National Examinations Council has announced the rescheduling of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the entrance examination into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja.
According to Azeez Sani, the acting Director of Information and Digital Communication at the council, the common entrance examination, initially slated for April 20, 2024, will now take place on June 1, 2024. Similarly, the entrance examination for Gifted and Talented Children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, originally scheduled for May 4, 2024, has been rescheduled to May 25, 2024.
Sani attributed the rescheduling of both examinations to low candidate enrollment. He urged candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders to take note of the new examination dates.
“The rescheduling of the two examinations was due to low enrollment of candidates. All candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders are therefore enjoined to take note of the new dates for the examinations,” the statement concluded.
