Today, April 14, the body of the late makeup artist Abigail Frederick, who tragically perished in a boat accident alongside Junior Pope and three others, was unearthed.
The exhumation took place this afternoon, and her remains are now en route to her home state of Akwa Ibom for burial.
Abigail’s body was discovered on Thursday, April 11, and initially interred along the riverbank. Allegedly, villagers insisted on this location as her family had not performed the necessary rituals to appease the river goddess.
