TThe kidnapped Channels TV reporter Joshua Rogers, a reporter with Channels Television who was abducted near his residence in Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Thursday, has been freed. His release occurred around 10 pm on Friday.
Charles Oporum, one of Rogers’ colleagues at Channels TV in Port Harcourt, confirmed his release to reporters, stating, “Yes, he has been released. He was released about an hour ago, and he has reunited with his family.”
The management of Channels Television also confirmed Rogers’ release in a brief statement, expressing gratitude to viewers and all concerned parties for their support and concern during the unfortunate incident.
